Oregon’s biggest Asian-centered event will returned July 26-28 bigger and better with support from the City of Beaverton. Over 200 vendors and partners joined us for an unmatched experience celebrating Asian American culture.

In addition to an incredible selection of vendors for an open-air night market outside we activated the entire Patricia Reser Center for the Arts with panels, art, film screenings, performances, wellness, and workshops.

We had over 160 incredible vendors join us who specialized in food, packaged goods, baked goods, art, prints, apparel, beauty and body care products, ceramics, cultural arts, jewelry, and lifestyle products.

Inside the Reser

The Patricia Reser Center for the Arts (pictured to the right) will only be activated on Friday (7/26) and Saturday (7/27). Please find a list of programs, activities, workshops, and other experiences that are being presented inside this state of the art facility below.

Mainstage

Stunning, modern, warm and intimate, the Mainstage Theater accommodates up to 550 seated guests on two levels for performances and speaking events. We will utilize it to present a spoken word/movement performance by a local group called Liminal Bodies

It will be followed by the screening of a featured film called “Dealing with Dad” directed by Tom Huang. After the film we will host a directors Q&A with Tom Huang and Soo Jin Lee the director of the Yellow Chair Collective.

The LAB

The LAB, located on the second floor of the Patricia Reser Center for the Arts, will feature short films, panels, and mixers. This part of the festival is being coordinated by Theatre Diaspora.

On Friday we are screening three short films in a space called the LAB. The way we will utilize it the room should fit comfortably around 75-100 attendees. They will have a first round of film screenings and then we will host a Directors panel before a second round of film screenings.

On Saturday we are hosting three panels and mixers in the LAB. They range from professional networking to storytelling and all touch on the topic of Asian American identity.

Saturday, July 27th

Pavilion Room

The Wellness Oasis, located on the first floor of the Patricia Reser Center for the Arts, will feature a diverse range of workshops and demonstrations, including massage, acupuncture, physical therapy, creative mindfulness, and yoga. The space is curated to offer attendees an immersive wellness experience while also introducing them to diverse practitioners from the Asian-American community across greater Portland. Our aim is to create a welcoming environment where attendees can pause, gain insights, and explore what wellness means to them. 

Yume Takeuchi, L.Ac. is a licensed acupuncturist (Yuzu Acupuncture) and the wellness activation partner for this year’s Legendary Makers Market.

The LOBBY, located on the first and second floors of the Patricia Reser Center for the Arts, will feature art workshops and a curated bar.

Our venue includes both the Round in Beaverton and the Patricia Reser Center for the Arts. It will be an enclosed fenced-in environment with indoor and outdoor activations. There will be five distinct areas within the event.

We have several partners. Each one has a focus and expertise. Allowing us to provide a holistic experience for guests. There will be four distinct groups of vendors. Each of them will have a pod leader to provide quality care and a touring feeling to the event.
